Annual Food Drive

The Atlanta Apartment Association's yearly Food-A-Thon is a treasured Lane tradition. Each year, Lane associates donate enough food to make millions of meals for people who would otherwise go hungry. The event collects non-perishable items for the Atlanta Community Food Bank, and year after year the Lane team prides itself on collecting more food items than any other real estate firm in the area.

Community Life Concepts

Lane helped launch and continues to support a nonprofit corporation called Community Life Concepts (CLC), an innovative program that strengthens communities and enhances the quality of life of residents of low-income housing. In addition to fostering economic development and educational opportunities, CLC conducts site-based programs that include after-school enrichment, summer camps, fitness activities and mentoring.

Associate HOPE Committee

Lane also looks after its own through a nonprofit effort called the Associate HOPE Committee, which lends a hand to employees faced with a sudden need. People who work for Lane Company can request HOPE funds if they need immediate food or shelter, fall victim to a natural or civil disaster, endure a serious health crisis or face a major family-related emergency.
