Lane Management, LLC began in 1974 as a private real estate firm specializing in reviving distressed properties.

Four years later, founder George H Lane III sold the business to Johnstown American and served as its president. During his tenure Johnstown became one of the largest property management companies in the nation. In 1985 George decided to step back and focus on other development and construction projects.

In 1988, George bought back the company name and re-established Lane Management, LLC as a property management business. Lane is now recognized as a national leader in multifamily real estate, with more services, strengths and energy than ever.
