George Lane Chairman, CEO & Founder
George was trained as an accountant, but real estate was his true calling. He founded Lane Company in 1974, sold it to Johnstown American a few years later and became that company’s president. He eventually left to get into development and construction, then re-launched Lane Company as a property management firm. Throughout the years, he’s been personally committed to community service and improving the lives of Lane Company’s residents, especially those in low-income communities.

Cynthia M. Pfeifer President, Lane Company
Ms. Pfeifer has been in the commercial and residential real estate industries as a COO, CIO (Chief Investment Officer) and CFO for 20 years.
Ms. Pfeifer has worked on both the real estate and company operations side of the business in both expanding and contracting cycles.
Cindy was most recently the COO and CIO of one of the top 10 multifamily builders in the country and largest developer of off campus student housing. She oversaw the placement of over $250 million of equity (in both acquisitions and developments) over the last three years with very good cash flows and returns. She lead the team of development, construction, acquisition, and property management and leasing personnel to establish and implement the strategic and tactical plans to implement their Funds’ investment strategies.
Ms. Pfeifer was also a partner and the CFO for the largest full service commercial real estate company based in Atlanta, GA where she worked with the brokerage, development and property management teams in achieving the company’s goals over 20 years and was instrumental in the company’s ongoing success (including the survival through several real estate cycle downturns and the death of the company’s founder).
She has developed corporate strategies to position companies to take advantage of market and business conditions in a highly competitive and rapidly changing industry and created tactical plans to implement those strategies throughout the company.

Eric Hade Chief Investment Officer/General Council
Eric oversees the Investment Management Division including all aspects of the firm’s capital markets, investment management and disposition activities. Responsibilities include oversight of all the firm’s capital-raising efforts, the sourcing and negotiation of institutional debt and equity, investor relations, asset management and dispositions. Eric also manages all the firm’s legal affairs and coordinates work with outside law firms. Before joining Lane Company, Eric was an attorney with the firm Sutherland, Asbill & Brennan, LLP.

Rob Couch President, Lane Management, LLC
Rob has over 30 years experience in property management, development, construction and acquisitions.
Mr. Couch has held senior positions with Balcor, Insignia, Western National, Related, RAM Partners and Centrum Management. He served as a United States Air Force fighter pilot and instructor, flight/mission leader and squadron
executive officer.

Bill Stahlke President, Lane Asset Management, LLC – Acquisitions
Mr. Stahlke is responsible for developing Lane Company’s acquisition strategy and overseeing all of the firm’s acquisitions. Mr. Stahlke came out of retirement to take the position. Before his retirement, he was President of Windsor Capital Partners (now known as The Shoptaw Group) and President of Executive Capital Corporation. Mr. Stahlke has also been a long-time volunteer and fundraiser for two nonprofit organizations, HOPE for Children and HOPE for Kids.
